At first we can check the Power LED. If the router is ready to work, power LED shows solid green. If the power LED on Betgear R6300 router is blinking green
it shows there is some issues with router firmware. So by checking the power LED we can determine whether the firmware on Netgear R6300 router is corrupted. If the netgear router is starting up, you will see solid amber on the power LED. When you press the reset button or the firmware is updated you can see blinking amber.

If Netgear router detects any USB device connected to it, USB LED light must be solid blue. If any USB HDD is trying to connect to the router, USB light will be blinking blue.
