Once a time where Adobe flash had a unique place in Internet. All websites and tools supported adobe flash and were eagerly waiting for new updates from them. Recently Adobe lost its past glory. Main reason is the arrival of a new player HTML5. HTML5 seems doing most of the Adobe flash's duties and while seeing it Google stopped caring Flash and they totally excluded the flash from their future products. Apple did it very early and Google followed it later. Because of this, latest versions of Android does not allow users to install Flash. It started from Android version 4.1 and above. Flash also stop providing support for Android Jelly Bean version onwards. We can see there is no latest version of flash players for Android devices. Though there is no current versions of flash players available for latest android devices, we can download and install them manually. We can download Flash player for Android version 4.1 and above from the Archived Flash Player Versions.

  5. Scroll for Flash Player for Android archives and select the suitable version for your Android version.

Please note that Flash payer is no longer supported in Google play store and we cannot expect perfect working of the installed flash player on your latest version of Android OS irrespective of the vendors life Samsung, LG etc. Though it is not fully supported, till the exact arrival of HTML5 we have to use flash payer to view any flash based videos in Internet. I personally say Android should have supported Flash player and vice versa. What ever the reasons to stop support for Flash player on Android OS, it finally hits the regular users. So it is good to know even though there is no official support, we can still download and install Flash player on latest version of Android Operating System. The same goes for mobile world too. According to Google flash is no longer required for Android phones and from Jelly Bean version onwards they do not certify Flash. So Google stopped support for Flash in Android devices. Apple already avoided Flash from apple devices at the beginning itself.

Why Did Android Stop Supporting Flash

Many people are still not aware of the major reason of Google's decision to stop support for Flash. By the release of Android 4.1, Google stopped even certification for Flash. Google said Android does not need Flash any more and flash cannot run on android 4.1 and later versions. It is all because of the emergence of HTML5, a new age of web developing. HTML5 can do all the tasks Flash does and Flash is no longer an important tool in Internet. To view video and play audio on a website, we do not need Flash if we code the website in HTML5. So as the part of improving web world major players in Internet decided to stop using flash for their products. As a result Google stopped the application of Flash in Android. Starting from Android Jelly Bean 4.1 Android does not support flash. Adobe also stopped supporting latest Android versions.

Though we cannot find latest flash players for Jelly Bean, we can download and install compatible flash player from Adobe Archives. First part of this article shows how to find and download flash player for recent versions of Android Operating System.

Time to Think about Time

This is a guest post by Isabella . The Millennium Bug seems like a long, distant memory, but in the late 1990s, the Y2K bug was sending fear and panic among network administrators, governments and businesses alike. Cash machines were expected to start dishing out dollars like fruit machines, high interest current accounts would empty, planes would fall from the sky and the world was going to plunge back into the dark ages, as every computer system failed. Okay, things didn’t seem to work out to be that bad. Few if any major computer meltdowns occurred, and the world moved on. The threat of the Millennium Bug was quite simply caused by a lack of foresight by computer manufacturers and programmers. Many computer programs only bothered to store the year in two decimal places, which meant that come the year 2000, a lot of timestamps would go from 99 to 00, essentially making the computer believe it was the year 1900. The debate was never settled whether the Y2K bug was just a damp sq...

In today's Internet age, however, social media is a big factor and is becoming even bigger as people look for work in the challenging economy. Whether it is what one perceives as an innocent picture or comment that was meant in jest, what individuals say on their Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ accounts, and other social media sites is being more closely monitored. Meanwhile, another 11% said they would be doing likewise soon. For those businesses that may just be starting out or have been around for a while but are newer to social media, social media background checks need to be d...
