Touch Screen Games for Windows 7

The touch screen system is a great system that can make life a lot easier. It can also bridge the gap between laptop or PC and the tablet. The
touch screen system is actually not a feature, but it is an add-on pack that can be downloaded to your system and will enable you to have touch-screen capabilities. There are some specific requirements that are important in order to be able to enable the touch screen add-on pack. You must have a computer that has touch screen capabilities. This can be checked by reviewing your specific machine specifications. If your machine does not have touch screen capabilities then the touch screen pack will not work on your computer.

Games you get with Microsoft Touch Pack for Win7

Touch Screen Games for Windows 7

Microsoft Blackboard: is a very interesting physics 2D game where you have to solve puzzles to move forward. The background is a plain blackboard and the graphics are not cutting edge but the game is quite nice. The physics games are really popular nowadays and if you happen to be without a Smartphone or a tablet, this could be a good substitute.

Microsoft Garden Pond:Another game that you get in the package is Microsoft Garden Pond, the game that will take you directly to the Japanese gardens.
Microsoft Garden Pond

It is another very simple game but if you don’t have anything smarter to do, try to guide little origami through the garden or try to turn out the fire by tapping the water. If you like Japanese gardens you will like that game as well. Of course, graphics could be a bit better.

Microsoft Surface Globe: is not a real game, it is more like a Globe (something like Google earth) that you can discover as a 2D map or you can zoom-in and enjoy 3D experience.

This Globe can be a perfect fit for your kids/toddlers and a good starting point in their learning career. Besides this, you can also learn a lot about the blue marble called Earth and even visit places you never saw before in your life.

Microsoft Surface Lagoon: Software that you get in the package is Microsoft Surface Lagoon, which is a combination of a good old screensaver and touch screen game.

The screensaver simulates a fish tank that looks like a lagoon with all those cute little fishes going around. If you ever felt the fishes “biting” your legs while you’re in the sea, you will definitely enjoy this screensaver. The fishes won’t bite you but if you place the finger on the screen they will slowly come toward your finger as if you were giving them food.

Microsoft surface collage: There is one more “game” in the package called Microsoft surface collage. Things you can do with it:

  1. Building the background of your desktop
  2. Arranging the pictures out of your albums
  3. Enjoying the pictures when you finish setting up the desktop
How to get more Touch screen games for Windows 7?

Easy, just search the net and you will find more downloads. The first one we stumbled upon was the game called Ball Dropings. If you like simple things, this one is perfect for you. Basically there is a ball going around and you need to draw a line (with your fingertips) so the ball can bounce off of the lines. As the ball hits the line, it gets a bit bigger and so on.

There are other games out there but since touch screen gaming on Win 7 is not that popular you can’t expect thousands of titles and latest hits. You will be limited with some basic options, but heck, who cares; you can have fun with those games as well.

Time to Think about Time

This is a guest post by Isabella . The Millennium Bug seems like a long, distant memory, but in the late 1990s, the Y2K bug was sending fear and panic among network administrators, governments and businesses alike. Cash machines were expected to start dishing out dollars like fruit machines, high interest current accounts would empty, planes would fall from the sky and the world was going to plunge back into the dark ages, as every computer system failed. Okay, things didn’t seem to work out to be that bad. Few if any major computer meltdowns occurred, and the world moved on. The threat of the Millennium Bug was quite simply caused by a lack of foresight by computer manufacturers and programmers. Many computer programs only bothered to store the year in two decimal places, which meant that come the year 2000, a lot of timestamps would go from 99 to 00, essentially making the computer believe it was the year 1900. The debate was never settled whether the Y2K bug was just a damp sq...

Company Takes on Social Media Background Checks for You

There was a day and age where job applicants only had to concern themselves with what was on their resumes and pretty much nothing else. In today's Internet age, however, social media is a big factor and is becoming even bigger as people look for work in the challenging economy. Whether it is what one perceives as an innocent picture or comment that was meant in jest, what individuals say on their Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ accounts, and other social media sites is being more closely monitored. According to one CareerBuilder survey of approximately 2,000 hiring managers and human resources professionals, 37% of HR managers reported using social media sites to attain more information on prospective candidates as part of the background checks process. Meanwhile, another 11% said they would be doing likewise soon. For those businesses that may just be starting out or have been around for a while but are newer to social media, social media background checks need to be d...
