Compare Windows Phone 8 & Android SmartPhone Better Phone OS

Are you about to buy a new SmartPhone and in a confusion to invest your money in Android or Windows 8 Phone ? Till now we have seen the growth of Android
as the most accepted smart phone operating system but the first time Microsoft is able to check the unmatched growth of Google in smart phone ios business with their new Operating System Windows 8. The major attraction of windows 8 is that this OS is suitable for Computers, tablets and SmartPhones. Unlike Android there is an advantage for Microsoft, users may think it is good to have the same platform for their PCs and smartphone. Windows 8 offers same environment for both PCs and SmartPhone including tablets. Though it is true Windows 8 have this advantage over Android, does it really matters when a new smartphone user going to choose from Windows 8 and Android ? Let us check this factor in this article.

It is really good when a file is supported by both PC and SmartPhone. So there is no need for changing format or any other issues. We can use the same product in both computer and smartphone with Windows 8 because both are running on same operating system. In case of android we cannot say all the products running on a PC can run on smartphone since both OS are different. Let us check the case of a video file in a specific format which can run in Windows 8 but cannot run on Android. In that case, to ensure the working of the video we need to convert the video in to another format in order to run on Android smartphone. It might be on reason when a user plans to buy a smartphone. So you know why the choice Windows 8 phone or Android phone exists. Clearly Windows 8 have an advantage here over Android.

Now let us check another feature price. Everybody knows Android is a freeware and Windows 8 is a paid one. Clearly Android is the best option for users who consider price of the smartphone before taking the final decision to buy a smartphone. Windows 8 smartphones costs more than an Android based SmartPhone. Also we can assure the future update of smart phone OS to latest release of Android for free. We cannot assure the same for Windows 8. Even for the windows phone 7 users, Microsoft is not going to give the privilege to update their phone to Windows 8. They just offer an update to windows Phone 7.8 version which is still we expect. But if  hardware supports there is no restriction from Google to update our device to the latest version of Android. Here we can see Android is the winner.

Now let us check the number of apps available for Windows Phone 8 and Android. Here we can see Android market (Google Play) is full with variety of apps and every day the number increases. Windows 8 cannot claim such a big apps center. Though there are many useful apps are ready for Windows phone 8, that cannot match the variety of Google play which offers more than 500000 games and apps. Also most of the smart phone games are designed for Android now. You may need to take a little while to expect the same facility for Windows 8 based smartphones. One factor is the difference in the payment to get publisher status in both Google play and Windows Store. To get publisher status in Google Play we have to pay $25 and the same goes for 49$ as a developer and 99$ to own Enterprise account. Windows fans say Windows Store has strict rules about the apps available in it and the quality of apps in higher compared to Android apps. While Android fans say Android is more flexible. So if you are using your smart phone to play phone games, you should consider the number of phone games available for both Windows phone 8 and android.

Here we consider the office tools which is very much needed for busy professionals. Windows 8 support the Microsoft office tools but android has limited support for this. In most cases Android let is just read the file and we cannot edit it. Though Android has limited support for Microsoft office tool, Google drive is an alternate for this. The problem with Google drive is that we cannot use it when we are offline. Windows 8 supports Microsoft office tools irrespective of the Internet connection. For a city user who is always connected to the Internet there no no difference in using Google drive or Microsoft office tools. But for a  country user it is one reason while deciding which phone is better for him.

If we look for the devices the major players in SmartPhone business with Android are Samsung, LG, Motorolla etc. Out of this Samsung introduces many models and no one can forget the popularity Galaxy. Also many other brands are choosing Android as their mobile os because of it flexibility and cost effectiveness. On the other hand, Nokia, HTC etc are big players with Windows Phone OS. Samsung also provide various models with Windows Phone. But for the same features Windows phones cost more compared to Android phones.

The Concepts of Social Networking in Today's World

In today’s high tech world, networking occurs as much on computers as in “real life” social situations. Social media has opened up a vast new frontier for people to connect with others. Before the advent of social media, people generally networked at social gatherings like mixers, fundraising galas and similar events. Of course, such “face-to-face” networking is still important and common, but social media allows possibilities that did not exist before. One of the problems with older networking models is that often the same people showed up at all the events. The percentage of the population that is active in community events tends to be rather low. On the other hand, almost everyone these days uses social media. Twitter and Google+ also have large numbers of active users that cross all demographic categories. ...
