Vitamins which still dominate women beauty supplement

Most women beauty supplements on the market today have at least one vitamin included in the formulation. Vitamins are molecules that the body needs in order to function and grow properly. Supplements for good skin aim to give people their daily vitamin needs in order to keep their skin smooth and healthy. So what are some of the vitamins that skin just loves? This article only lists a few very important vitamins found in many skin supplements.

Cold Crusaders or Collagen Creators?

Vitamin C is mostly marketed as a vitamin that can keep combat colds in children. They’re not entirely wrong. Vitamin C has been found to bolster the immune system and keep people from getting sick, but no drug so far has been found to combat every single cold virus in the world.

Aside from its effect on the immune system, Vitamin C is a known antioxidant. It combats free radicals in the skin, which are harmful, unstable ions that can do damage to your skin on the cellular level. It has been reported to even out skin tone and make dark spots go away. Vitamin C can be found in capsules, powders, child vitamin syrups, and sometimes creams.

Beauty in Brighter Beige

If you have sensitive skin, then Vitamin B3 might be good for you. One of its main effects on the skin is the production of fatty acids. These fatty acids protect your skin from the sun and pollution,, minimizing redness. It also has the added benefit of locking in moisture, preventing your skin from drying out.

Just like Vitamin C, Vitamin B3 helps even out skin tone by transferring melanin. This is particularly helpful if you want to get rid of dark spots. The best way to take Vitamin B3 is through topical application with a cream; sometimes with Vitamin A for best results.

Everlasting Epidermis

Vitamin E is mostly found in sun creams and sunscreens, and for good reason. Not a lot of people realize it, but the sun is the skin’s No. 1 enemy in staying young and youthful. Even short exposures to the sun’s ultraviolet ray’s cause the skins natural supply of Vitamin A to be depleted, making the skin more susceptible to damage. This can be as simple as wrinkles, sunburns and age spots, or as serious as melanoma and skin cancer.

Vitamin E, aside from being another wonderful antioxidant, helps the skin stay moisturized and protected from the sun. Even after the skin has been damaged from exposure to the sun, an application of Vitamin A and Vitamin C can kick start the healing process.

These are only three of the many vitamins that are good for your skin. Of course, there are a few things to remember when taking in any vitamin. Only use the dosage appropriate for your age and mass. Don’t take in too much vitamins, because certain vitamins can be toxic if taken in excess. Lastly, see a doctor or dermatologist before starting to take in vitamins.
